Assisting our learners to read comprehensively and competently is vital in their education. Reading can open up the world of endless knowledge and opportunities. It would help them in becoming who they dream to be and do what they want to do with confidence. In a classroom setting, learners who can read well are most likely to learn more things with ease and are even determined to make advance reading and studying. Learning competencies from all subject areas can be delivered accordingly when learners are able to read comprehensively. That is why the Department of Education is intensifying its campaign towards literacy and numeracy in the country and schools are instructed to do all possible ways to decrease the number of illiterates and non-numerates.

One way of assisting our learners to read is by providing them with useful and effective reading materials that would ignite their love for reading. Hence, below is the set of reading materials or "reading booklet" that can be printed out and distributed to our learners especially those who are in need of it.
