As part of its initiatives to ensure that the welfare of teachers and staff is prioritized, DepEd has fast-tracked the processing and release of salaries for March and April, while the salary for May is being processed.
The clothing allowance of employees has already been released and distributed, and the performance-based bonus for teachers is also being processed.
Meanwhile, DepEd has granted a three-month moratorium on loan payment for all DepEd Provident Fund loans without interest and extended the payment period for said Provident Fund.
