The Department of Education has an on-going study of the new promotion policy for public school teachers in the country.
Teachers have been clamoring about this in the past few years and the DepEd has started to look into accordingly.
The new policy suggests that teachers will no longer wait for natural vacancies of positions, instead, they will be promoted based on their performance and attainment of set competencies.
"Teachers will have a career path from Teacher I to Teacher VII (Salary Grade 11 to Salary Grade 17) and Master Teacher 1 to Master Teacher IV (Salary Grade 18 to Salary Grade 22)," said the Department of Education (DepEd) in a separate statement.

ReplyDeletepromotion?
What will happen po don sa mga head teachers ngayon if matutuloy na po tong bagong policy ng promotion?
ReplyDeleteBut po ang haba ng stages pwde nmang T1 to T3 /M1to M3 pahirapan n nga lalo pang pinapahirapan ang mga teachers thats why teachers always have that second thought.
