Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced that the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) recommends the formal opening of classes to be in September.
This is during the Live TV coverage of the President on Friday (April 24) in addressing the extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine in the country.
In the previous reports from the Department of Education, they are eyeing to open the classes in August based on the consultations made with their stakeholders. However, the final decision on this will depend on the recommendations from the President and the Inter-Agency Task Force.
Now that the IATF has made their recommendation, the public is advised to wait for the final decision as to when exactly the opening of classes will be scheduled whether be in August or September.
