  1. I prefer the starting of classes next year or until the covid is totally gone. If the class continues to open this August...and the environment is still unsafe; children's education can possibly be disrupted. Although social distancing is practiced in school, it is still unavoidable. Eventhough there's a cure or vaccine this year, hospitals can be overloaded, all family members in the house will possibly be infected, goodluck to those who are weak in immunity....at magkasya na ba ang supply ng gamot or vaccine sa millions of people na magkasabay-sabay magkakasakit? Education at school can wait. We live ones, I will not put our lives at risk for that. So I prefer my children to stay at home this school year 2020-2021. One year of not attending to school is not bad at all as long as they're safe. We can still study at home, giving much time for them, it's a great bonding by one on one homeschooling. Thanks for DepEd Commons, it helps a lot, most esp. now that you can access even without internet. At kahit po walang DepEd Commons, we can still provide learning for our children at home. We can wait until it's covid-free or safe for all of us. When it comes to the graduation, we can still wait kahit ma-postpone pa hanggang sa next year ang 2019-2020 graduates, okey lang po. Our health, our lives is most important, you can't study well and education is useless without it.

  2. I think that is too much to contain our children at home for a long time, like for a year. Social distancing will indeed be developed in them which is opposite conventional social skills like, learning together, enjoying being with others through sports events, academic competitions, camping and other outdoor activities. Mistrust with others may be developed. Knowledge what covid is and how they can be avoided should be told to our children as there will be vaccines and cure that will be used with cases. Pestilence is part of hurdles in life, what makes people survive is making a way with God to overcome it.
