The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has already started the loan payment refund to all its active members for the month of March 2020. This is line with the issued loan moratorium by the agency amid the crisis brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Several divisions have already confirmed that they have already processed the release of this refund.
"GSIS has refunded (Thru UMID) March 2020 loans as their commitment to the implementation of the moratorium.
However, they have refunded first the conso loan, others to follow.
Moreover, those whose loan account is DUE AND DEMANDABLE (with 6 months past due), is NOT QUALIFIED FOR REFUND.
Also, those with RENEWAL WITHIN the moratorium period are not qualified for refund.
