Internet connectivity is one of the major hindrances for students to be able to cope up with the proposed distance learning from the DepEd as part of their learning continuity plan and in response to the latest announcement that face-to-face interaction shall not be allowed until a vaccine is available.
Fortunately, Mayor Emerson Pascual of Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, has announced that they will be providing every household in the city with a 5MBPS internet connection which will only cost them P50 per month internet fee.
Mayor Pascual said the local government has already allocated funds to cover the installation of the fiber optic internet connection to their barangays.
