On June 11, 2020, GSIS Executive Vice President, Atty. Nora M. Malubay, made an announcement thru, radio, television, and social media that the GSIS loan moratorium will be extended until June 2020, which resulted to lots of queries from DepEd field units as to its implementation.
For the information of all concerned, unlike the Marck 2020 GSIS moratorium on loans wherein the GSIS is responsible for the refund of loan amortization already remitted to the GSIS, this Department is now in-charge of its June 2020 disbursements, status of which is shown below:
