To address the issue of insufficiency of public transportations and the demand to allow family members to back ride on motorcycles amid this crisis, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque made an announcement that sidecars are now allowed to travel on national highways.
“Well nagkaroon na po ng bagong polisiya, pinapayagan na po ngayon ang mga sidecars sa national highways. Yan po ay para maibsan yung kakulangan ng transportasyon ngayong nag-GCQ na at MGCQ na sa maraming areas,” said Roque in an online briefing.
