As the number of COVID-19 positive cases continues to increase every single day, a group of teachers urged the Department of Education not to require them to physically report to school starting next week.
“We are in the belief that requiring teachers to report to school beginning Monday is unnecessary, impractical, and will just place them and other people in a health hazard,” said the Teachers' Dignity Coalition (TDC).
According to the group, teachers should be preparing for distance learning and requiring them to physically report to school will be impractical.
