Lawmakers agreed to provide one-time cash aid to teaching and non-teaching personnel including part-time faculty members of state universities and colleges.
In a recent bicameral conference attended by senators and house representatives, they have come up with a version of the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act or Bayanihan 2 which includes the provision to grant a one-time cash allowance to the said entities.
However, Senator Sonny Angara emphasized that there is no final amount yet for this provision.
As the amount for this cash aid is yet to be finalized, the Department of Education shall receive additional funds once this bill is signed.
