In an online press briefing by the Department of Education on Monday, DepEd Usec. Annalyn Sevilla presented the 2021 proposed budget of the Department of Education from the PHP 4.5 trillion proposed national budget.
In her presentation, the Education Sector shall still have the highest budget for the next year with a total of PHP 754 billion. Out of this, the Department of Education shall get a total budget of PHP 605.74 billion, an increase of PHP 53 billion from the current year.
