To give its continuous support to all public school teachers in the country, the Department of Education is now preparing to release the following incentives and benefits which also include COVID-19 benefits.
Here is the list of benefits and incentives that each public school teacher shall receive:
1. Annual Medical Checkup Allowance (September) - P500
2. World Teacher's Day Incentive Benefit (October) - P1,000
3. Hazard Pay (For teachers who are physically reporting to work under ECQ and Modified ECQ) - P500 per day

DepEd Usec. Annalyn M. Sevilla stressed that the DepEd is now coordinating with the Employees Compensation Commission, PhilHealth, and GSIS for the assistance of teaching and non-teaching personnel who tested positive for COVID-19.

We wait for that incentives to buy for my ink in my own printer at home. We also wait for the load allowance for downloading our learners materials as well as our needs too.

I Haven't received any incentives coming from the DepEd. You see even my salary is delayed. They said it's because I just passed my requirements for my salary last week end of November. I have been waited for 5 months to be exact (August, September, October, November). They said they will be given it to me this month. My question is, is this the reality in DepEd? Are you tolerating division to do like this to the DepEd employees? Aside from that, If you are a transferee from 1 region to another region, your designation will be futile? Like me i'm teacher 3, now become teacher 1.My promotion is Reclassification., So, therefore, I need to re apply again for Teacher 3. Thank you po sa makakasagot.
