The Department of Education will soon release its adjusted school calendar for SY 2020-2021 following the recent postponement of class opening from August 24 to October 5.
“We will release an adjusted school calendar soon,” said DepEd Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction Diosdado San Antonio.
DepEd also emphasized the need to extend the school year 2020-2021 because of the deferment of the August 24 school opening. Usec. San Antonio stressed that certain programs and activities which were supposed to be conducted from September 5 to October 5 shall be moved and conducted on other dates.
