The Department of Education shall expand the use of Schools' Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) in response to the needs due to the existing crisis brought by the pandemic.
EXPAND THE USE OF MOOE
With the suspension of the face-to-face classes, we expect to generate savings from the School MOOE. These savings are realigned to provide for BE-LCP requirements.
The following items are now authorized to be charged to School MOOE for the implementation of BE-LCP.
1. Development of Home Learning Guides
2. Production and repreduction, and distribution of alternatice delivery modules
3. Production and distribution of IECs to promote minimum health standard
4. Personal Protective Equipment
5. Maintenance of respiratory and hand hygiene/WASH; rehabilitation of water and sanitatio facilities; and minor improvements in classroom for proper ventilation
EXTERNAL FUND SOURCES
The DepEd alongside with other National Government Agencies, Local Government Units and with other external partners such as Non-Government Organizations, Private organizations shall work together to provide additional support to our learners, teaching and non-teaching staff.
