The Senate Bill No. 1092 or the Teaching Supplies Allowance Act of 2019 has been approved in the second reading and is now up for the third reading.
Under this bill, the teaching supplies allowance of public school teachers which are intended for the purchase of chalks, erasers, forms, and other classroom supplies and materials shall be increased from the current P3,500 to P5,000.

Skeptics: Hindi naman nila kailangan ang chalk bakit tinaasan pa? Mas mahal kaya ang internet connection kaysa chalk. Printer, ink, bond paper pa.
