Minors and senior citizens are not allowed to go out of their homes as the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) approved the adjustment of age-based stay-at-home restrictions during community quarantine.
Those who are 15 to 65 years of age can now leave their homes from the previous 18 to 60 years of age.
"The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) on Thursday, October 15, 2020, approved the adjustment of age-based stay-at-home restrictions," a statement from presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
Roque further states that local government units (LGUs) may impose higher age limits for minors, depending on the COVID-19 situation in their respective jurisdictions.
