The office of the undersecretary for curriculum and instruction of the Department of Education has adjusted the 4 academic quarters for this school year 2020-2021 to lessen the stress and anxiety among learners, teachers, and parents/guardians.
In the released memorandum OUCI-2020-307 entitled "SUGGESTED MEASURES TO FOSTER "ACADEMIC EASE" DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC", the academic quarters for this school year shall be adjusted as follow:
- Quarter 1 is extended until December 12, 2020
- Quarter 2 shall be from January 4, 2021, to February 27, 2021
- Quarter 3 shall be from March 1, 2021, to April 24, 2021
- Quarter 4 shall be from April 26, 2021, to June 11, 2021
