After the Senate Plenary Budget Hearing on Thursday, the DepEd's 2021 Budget is now up for bicameral deliberations.
Under the proposed 2021 budget are the benefits and allowance for public school teachers which include:
- World Teachers' Day Incentive Bonus
- Annual Medical Exam
- Increase of Teaching Supplies Allowance (P5,000)
Also included in the said proposed budget is the restoration of funding level for the Senior High School Voucher Program, flexible learning options, Indigenous People's education, Special Education, disaster preparedness, and response.
