In-Service Training (INSET) for public school teachers is one of the ways of the Department of Education to equip teachers with new knowledge and skills in order for them to face the challenges in the delivery of education. Now that the educational sector is facing one of its greatest challenges in history, training our teachers to cope up with these trying times has never been more imperative.
In-service training offers one of the most promising roads to the improvement of instruction. It includes the goal and content, the training process, and the context.
Below are the sample training design and matrix that you can use as a pattern in designing your school's or district's in-service training.
