"When will the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) be released?" This is one of the most common queries to the Department of Education from its personnel.
To clear things up and inform all the DepEd personnel, Usec. Annalyn Sevilla has given the update regarding the release of such an incentive. In her post, she mentioned that the funds for the SRI shall be released to the regional office starting the week of January 18, 2021, and shall be released to Schools Division Offices and finally be granted to all eligible DepEd employees.
"The report has been approved by the Secretary and release of downloaded funds for SRI to regions shall start the week of Jan 18. All regional finance officers shall be instructed to download the same funds to the School division offices (SDOs) so this can be distributed to all eligible employees in its jurisdiction," said Usec. Sevilla.
