CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM AND COURSE PROPOSALS FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL
TEACHERS AND SCHOOL LEADERS TO THE NATIONAL EDUCATORS
ACADEMY OF THE PHILIPPINES (BATCH 2)
1. 1n line with DepEd Order (DO) No. 001, s. 2020 titled Guidelines for National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) Recognition of Professional Development Program and Courses for Teachers and School Leaders, the Department of Education (DepEd) through the EAP announces the second Call for Submission of Professional Development Program and Course Proposals for Public School Teachers and School Leaders for the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (Batch 2).
2. The call is open to DepEd Service Providers (DSPs) and Authorized Learning Service Providers (LSPs) who seek to offer Professional Development (PD) programs and courses intended for all public teachers and school leaders for inclusion in the NEAP Professional Development Programs for 2021.
3. Non-DepEd LSPs who are not yet Authorized shall first comply with the requirements of the Authorization Process stated in Item VII od DO 001, s. 2020 prior to submission of professional development programs and/ or courses.
4. DSPs and authorized LSPs shall submit their proposals through askneap@deped.gov.ph or the NEAP Central Office, addressed to:

5. The Schools Division OItrces (SDOs) shall submit their proposals to their NEAP/Human Resources development Division, Regional Offices for evaluation.
6. Proposals shall be evaluated based on the following criteria stated in DO OO1, s.2Q2O:
a- Alignment with the EAP Professional Development Priorities', as stated in DepEd Memorandum (DM) No' 05o' s' 2020;
b. Mapping of the Philippine Professional Standards for teachers (PPST), the Philippine Professional Standards for School Heads (PSSH), or the Philippine Professional Standards for SuPervisors (PPSS);
c . Articulation of Objectives/ Outcomes;
d. Alignment of the Objectives/ Intended Learning Outcomes (lLOs), Content and, if applicable, Assessment with the professional standards for teachers or school leaders; e. The soundness of Methodology;
f. Mechanism.s to determine whether tJle Objectives/IlOs have been met;
g. Strength of Research-based;
h. Use of Adult Learning Principles;
i. Use of Recognized Best Practices;
j. Intended Classroom Level Application and Innovation;
k. Credentials/ Expertise of Resource Person(s); and
1. Budget and Costing a.rld Absorptive Capacity.
