The Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT) has made a resolution to call for the upgrading of teachers' salaries as promised by President Duterte.
This resolution pushes for the realization of the reasonable salary increase and that the Salary Standardization Law V is not sufficient compared to the living conditions of teachers and their families. It also stressed that the basic pay of uniformed personnel has doubled yet the promised increase for the teachers remained unfulfilled.
