The Department of Education announced that teachers will be receiving connectivity loads for three months which will be given starting June.
DepEd Usec. Alain Pascua emphasized that each teacher shall receive 30 to 35 GB of data allocation per month.
He noted that the 35GB per month is adequate for the teachers’ online teaching activities as the 1GB bandwidth a day can be used for eight hours of online webinars, downloading, watching of videos, among others.
But how can teachers receive this connectivity load? According to DepEd Usec. Pascua, teachers will be asked to register in DepEd COmmons in order to claim the said load.
“We will begin to roll out siguro next month. We will be asking our teachers to register in DepEd Commons para mabigyan sila ng load sa kani-kanilang cellphone,” said Pascua.
