PRC CPD Units to be granted to professionals who rendered essential services during the pandemic


GRANTING CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) UNITS
TO ALL PROFESSIONALS PROVIDING ESSENTIAL SERVICES DURING
THE STATE OF PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY DUE TO THE COVID-19

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released Resolution No. 1239, s. 2020 which aims to provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Credit Units to all professionals who rendered their essential services during the state of public health emergency due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019.

Ms. Joy Martinez of Alliance of Concerned Teachers reported that public school teachers should also receive 25 CPD credit units for rendering their services amidst the pandemic, according to PRC Commissioner Yolanda D. Reyes.
