The Department of Education said in the recent news that the DBM is now procuring brand new laptops for 68,500 DepEd personnel as the educational sector in the country continues to deliver the essential competencies to learners through distance learning.
As for the distribution of the said laptops, DepEd Usec. Annalyn Sevilla said that it would start by July this year onwards after the DBM procurement.
These laptops are being procured under the allotted fund amounting to P2.4 billion from the total P4.3 billion financial assistance given to the Deped through the Bayanihan 2.
