The SEAMEO STEM-ED is organizing an online lecture series titled "Introduction to Program Effectiveness Research" by Prof. Dr. Brain Rowan, Burke A. Hinsdale Collegiate Professor in Education and Research Professor, Institute for Social Research, the University of Michigan, following the schedule below.

The objectives are to build the capacity of regional researchers and educators in education research and to straighten the regional researcher network in Southeast Asia.

There will be four lectures as follows:

Lecture 1: "Some Logical Underpinnings of Program Effectiveness Research" on Friday, 27 August 2021 at 6.00-8.00 pm. (GMT+7 Bangkok time)

Lecture 2: "Research Designs to Create Counterfactuals" on Thursday, 9 September 2021 at 6.00-8.00 pm. (GMT+7 Bangkok time)

Lecture 3: "Estimating and Interpreting Treatment Effects" on Friday, 8 October 2021 at 6.00-8.00 pm. (GMT+7 Bangkok time)

Lecture 4: "How to Report on Program Impacts" on Friday, 22 October 2021 at 6.00-8.00 pm. (GMT+7 Bangkok time)
