The GSIS announces the extension of its GSIS Financial Assistance Loan (GFAL) program until 31 December 2021. This is to give the personnel of the Department of Education, as well as other government agencies, additional time to apply and enjoy the benefits of GFAL’s flexible credit facility.
GFAL has recently been expanded to include active members whose employment status is appointed, elected, or non-permanent and whose periods with paid premiums (PPP) are at least 15 years.
GSIS has also reduced the previous three-month payslip requirement to only one month from the date of application.
