The annual clothing and uniform allowance shall be released to all eligible personnel not earlier than the first working day of April of the current year, subject to existing accounting and auditing rules and regulations, and upon the release of the Notice of Cash Allocation from DBM.
However, the Clothing Allowance in the Division of Tarlac both in Elementary and Senior High School Levels has been released early as confirmed by a reliable source Ma'am Shiela Lim Manuel of NCR-ASSERT.
Other divisions are expected to release the said allowance to help teachers in preparing for the complete set of the new prescribed uniforms for DepEd personnel.
Recently, Manuel also confirmed that the payroll for this year's clothing allowance is now underway following the stipulated guidelines in DepEd Memorandum No. 16, s. 2021.
