Presidential spokesperson and Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said that the salary increase for public school teachers will soon be realized.
"I'm sure mayroon ding pagtaas ng suweldo sa mga guro natin. Mahal ni Tatay Digong ang ating mga guro," Andanar said.
Several teachers' groups have been calling the government, especially President Duterte to deliver his promise in increasing the teachers' salaries.
According to Duterte, the government is already saving funds so the said increase shall be realized.
