In compliance with the Special Provision on Cash Allowance, the amount appropriated herein for Cash Allowance to teachers shall be used for the payment of Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000) per classroom teacher for every school year for the purchase of teaching supplies and materials, for internet and other communication expenses, and for annual medical examination expense, subject to guidelines to be issued by the DBM and DepEd.
Here is the updated list of divisions where the said cash allowance was released, as confirm by Ma'am Shiela Lim Manuel of ASSERT-NCR:
1. SDO Masbate
2. SDO Nueva Ecija
3. SDO Bulacan
4. SDO Batangas
5. SDO Antipolo
6. SDO Tayabas City
7. Bacoor Cavite
"The budget for cash/ internet/ chalk allowance is in your respective SDO. It is the prerogative of the SDO to release it earlier or otherwise," said Ma'am Shiela in her Facebook post.
Note: This webpage will be updated as soon as other SDOs confirmed the release of the cash allowance.
In the previous school year, the said allowance was released as early as June 15, 2021 prior to the opening of classes as per the memorandum issued to field offices by Undersecretary for Finance Annalyn Sevilla and Assistant Secretary for Finance Ramon Fiel Abcede.
