Under the Republic Act No. 11466 or the "Salary Standardization Law of 2019", the compensation for all civilian government personnel shall be standardized and rationalized across all government agencies to create an enabling environment that will promote social justice, integrity, efficiency, and productivity, accountability and excellence in the civil service.
All government personnel shall be provided with just and equitable compensation in accordance with the principle of equal pay for work of equal value.
With this, the modified Salary Schedule for Civilian Personnel shall be implemented in four (4) tranches. The fourth tranche of this increase shall be effective come January 2023. Teacher I shall have a starting monthly salary of P27,000, Teacher II with P29,165, Teacher III with P31,320, and so on.
