Good news on the provision for a rice allowance to all qualified government workers and employees.
According to a source from the Action and Solidarity for the Empowerment of Teachers (ASSERT), Region 12 has already started the release of the said rice allowance.
Under Administrative Order No. 2, signed by President "Bongbong" Marcos, all qualified government workers and employees are entitled to the provision of one-time rice assistance at a uniform amount.
The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has then released to the National Food Authority (NFA) a total of P1,182,905,000 for the one-time rice assistance to all qualified employees and workers of government agencies.
