DepEd suspends in-person classes on October 31 & November 3, 2023 in public elementary and secondary schools
To allow teachers to participate in the celebration of World Teacher's Day on 05 October 2023, and give them ample time to complete election-related duties for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on 30 October 2023, all in-person classes in public elementary and secondary schools, including community learning centers of the Alternative Learning System (ALS), shall shift to the various blended learning modalities (i.e modular distance, asynchronous) on the following dates:
October 5, 2023 (Thursday);
October 31, 2023 (Tuesday); and
November 3, 2023 (Friday).
