Schedule of Release of the 2023 SRI for Gov't Employees

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has recently approved an administrative order that provides service recognition incentives and gratuity pay to government contract workers and job order employees for the fiscal year 2023. Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin signed Administrative Order (AO) No. 12, which is five pages long and dated December 7th.

According to the signed order, President Marcos has given his authorization for a one-time Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) amounting to PhP20,000 for executive branch workers in the government. This incentive will be granted to civilian personnel in national government agencies, state universities and colleges (SUCs), and government-owned or controlled corporations (GOCCs) regardless of whether they hold regular, contractual, or casual positions.

Furthermore, the incentive will also be given to uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). Qualified uniformed personnel of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) are also eligible to receive the PhP20,000 SRI incentive.

The payment of the SRI to all qualified government employees shall not be earlier than 15 December 2023.
