Nagfile ang Makabayan Bloc ng House Bill No. 9920 o An Act Increasing the Minimum Wage Salaries of Public School Teachers to P50,000 and Appropriating Funds therefor.

Layunin ng panukalang batas na ito na taasan ang minimum wage ng mga guro, na matagal nang napag-iwanan at hindi na nakasasapat. Ito ay matagal nang ipinaglalaban ng ACT Teachers Partylist dahil noon pa man ay salat na salat na ang sweldo ng mga guro.

Hiling ng kinatawan na suportahan ang kampanya para sa pagtataas ng sweldo ng mga guro at ang pagtutulak na maipasa ang nasabing panukalang batas.
