Malacañang has released the official list of regular holidays and special non-working days in the Philippines in 2024.
For April 2024, the "Araw ng Kagitingan" is declared as a regular Holiday on April 9, 2024. It is also reflected in the DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024 which means no classes in all levels for the said date.
Another holiday is expected to be declared in April, Eid'l Fitr.
It stands as a major celebration in the Islamic faith. Following nearly a month of fasting throughout Ramadan, Eid is marked with immense happiness. In the Philippines, the tentative date for this Holiday is April 10, 2024, which will be celebrated with happiness and dedication. However, the public will have to wait for the official declaration of this Holiday from the Office of the President for the exact date.
