As seen in the forecast by DOST-PAGASA on the highest heat index in the country, many of the provinces, major cities, and municipalities. Provided that the schools in these areas will implement ASYNCHRONOUS/DISTANCE LEARNING modality to their learners either modular or online learning.
The places included in the list below are those with official declarations from their LGUs. As instructed by the Department of Education, each school head is also authorized to suspend in-person classes depending on the actual heat index in their respective schools.

- Municipality of Ubay, Bohol (APRIL 29-30, Pre-school to Senior HS, Public & Private)
- Province of Albay (All levels, public and private, April 29-30)
- Municipality of Aguilar, Pangasinan (Suspension of Afternoon Classes, Pre-school to Senior High, Public School Only, April 22-30)
- Cotabato City (All Levels in Public Schools until April 30)
- Municipality of Binmaley, Pangasinan (Pre-school to Senior High School, Public & Private, April 22 - May 30)
- Municipality of Polomolok, South Cotabato (Afternoon classes suspended in all levels, public & private schools: April 17-30)
- Province of Sultan Kudarat (All Levels April 17 to April 30)
- Cebu Province (All Levels until Further Notice)
- Municipality of Minglanilla (Until further notice)
- Polytechnic University of the Philippines: All Campuses (Until April 30 due to a reported series of transport strikes)
