President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. approved a plan on Tuesday to revert the country's school calendar to its traditional format in response to public concerns about the class schedule,
As a result, the school year 2024-2025 will commence on July 29 and will end on April 15, 2025.
This marks the beginning of a gradual shift back to a school year that starts in June and ends in March of the following year.
The President met with the Vice President at the Malacañan Palace to discuss the two options for implementing the school year 2024-2025 calendar, considering the transition back to the June-to-March schedule.
