Public school teachers in the basic education curriculum will be granted a teaching allowance of P5,000 for the 2024-2025 school year as stipulated in the RA 11997 also known as the Kabalikat sa Pagtuturo Act. This allowance is set to be released in July 2024.
Starting from the 2025-2026 school year, the allowance will be raised to P10,000 and will continue at this level in the following years. This amount will be tax-exempt, enabling teachers to receive the full allowance without deductions.
