Angara's instructions to schools on "Bare Classroom Policy"

Education Secretary Sonny Angara stated on Monday that schools should keep enforcing the policy requiring the removal of posters and decorations from classroom walls and other areas, while consultations on the issue are still ongoing.

DepEd Order 21 mandates that schools maintain their premises, including school grounds, classrooms, walls, and other facilities, in a clean condition, free from unnecessary artwork, decorations, tarpaulins, and posters at all times.

“Well, makikipag-ugnayan kami sa mga guro at mga punong-guro para malaman kung dapat bang panatilihin ang patakaran na iyon, o kung kailangang baguhin ito,” said Sec. Angara.
