Salary increase for teachers will happen during Marcos' term, Sec. Angara says

The new DepEd Secretary, Sen. Sonny Angara, said in an interview that teachers will receive salary increases in the upcoming years. 

“I’m confident that in the next few years, hindi ko lang alam kung this year or next year, eh magkakaroon 'yan ng pagtaas ng sweldo sa ating mga teachers,” Angara said.

Sec. Angara believes that the said increase will happen during the term of President Ferdinand “Bong-Bong” Marcos Jr.

“Tingin ko dito sa loob ng termino ni Pangulong Marcos magkakaroon tayo ng pagtaas ng sweldo ng ating mga teachers,” he added.

Senator Sonny Angara has also expressed his commitment to maintaining the recently introduced curriculum guide established by his predecessor.
