Malacañang suspends work and classes on October 31, 2024 at 12:00pm onwards

To give government employees the chance to fully engage in traditional activities for All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day, as well as to facilitate travel across different regions of the country and boost local tourism, work in government offices and classes at all educational levels will be suspended on October 31, 2024, starting at 12:00 p.m. 

However, agencies responsible for delivering essential and health services, disaster and calamity preparedness/response, and other critical services will continue their operations and provide the necessary services. 

The decision to suspend work in private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective leaders. 

This directive is effective immediately.
