ACT Seeks Clarification on 2024 Service Recognition Incentive from DBM

The Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT) has officially reached out to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) with a request for information regarding the 2024 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) allocated for government employees.

Call for Full SRI Release

ACT is advocating for the complete disbursement of the SRI funds to teachers and education support staff. They emphasize the shortcomings of the incentive allocations in previous years, stressing the importance of adequate financial recognition for the contributions of educational personnel.

DBM's Response

The DBM has confirmed that it has received ACT's inquiry, marking the first step towards addressing the concerns raised by the teachers' group.
