Here are the latest updates on the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) for DepEd employees based on the recent Facebook Live of Sir Benjo Basas, Chairperson of Teachers' Dignity Coalition (TDC):

1. The SRI 2024 is confirmed as the President has already tasked the DBM, DepEd, and other concerned agencies to increase the incentive. Before this, the DBM had already submitted a proposal for this incentive, amounting to P20,000.

2. The exact amount for the SRI 2024 is yet to be finalized by the said agencies.

3. The Administrative Order for this incentive has yet to be released and there is nothing to worry about as it is still within the timeframe based on its release in the previous years.
