Holidays for the Month of January 2025

Isra Wal Mi’raj (Muslim Legal Holiday)
Recognized by Article 170 and 172 of Presidential Decree No. 1083 (Code of Muslim Personal Laws of the Philippines), these Provinces and Cities shall observe the holiday on January 27, 2025:
Province of Basilan, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Zamboanga del Norte, and Zamboanga del Sur, and the Cities of Cotabato, Iligan, Marawi, Pagadian and Zamboanga City, and in such other Muslim Provinces and Cities as may hereafter be created.

All Muslim government officials and employees in places other than those enumerated shall be excused from reporting to the office so that they may be able to observe the Muslim Holiday.
