The Department of Education (DepEd) has issued the Guidelines on the New DepEd National Uniform for Classroom and Office-Based Personnel through DepEd Memorandum No. 028, s. 2025.
In accordance with this Memorandum, the annual clothing and uniform allowance, amounting to seven thousand pesos (P7,000.00) or the equivalent amount appropriated for the subsequent fiscal year, shall be disbursed to all eligible personnel no earlier than the first working day of April of the current year. This is subject to applicable accounting and auditing rules and regulations, and contingent upon the release of the Notice of Cash Allocation from the Department of Budget and Management.
This memorandum announces the adoption of three new sets of DepEd National Uniform Designs for classroom and office-based personnel, with the transition period set to begin in School Year 2025-2026.
